Home & Away: An Evening of Crime Fiction
Tuesday 3 November 2026, 7:15pm | Wimbledon Library | Free event
I’m delighted to be joining fellow crime writer Emma Styles at Wimbledon Library for an evening of conversation hosted by local author Joy Kluver.
We’ll be talking about how the places we know, and the lives we’ve lived, inspire our fiction. With my DCI Rob Miller mysteries set in and around Surrey and West London, I’ll be sharing how local streets, riverside landmarks and familiar neighbourhoods make their way into my books.
The “home and away” theme brings together my local settings and Emma’s Australian crime fiction. We’ll explore how landscape and location shape our characters, build atmosphere and bring our stories to life.
Whether you’re a crime fiction fan, an aspiring writer or simply curious about what goes into a thriller, I’d love to see you there!
Places are free, but booking is required.
